Meet Isaac the amazing change agent from Ada

I probably should say, am a blending of many things because, I do a lot about youth development and empowerment.
I've started Barcamp Ada #bcada and Barcamp Somanya #bcsom in 2017 not for fame but to serve the purpose the GhanaThink Foundation's BarCamp Ghana program seeks to bringing people to this 'Un-Conference' Barcamps to forum, share, learn, get mentored and Network.
It was tough but I needed to start exposing some of the individuals making Change, doing amazing things and solving problems via this event.
At Barcamp Ada 2017 was a mentor; Isaac Adjaottor, a Community Change agent, who runs a lot of non-profit projects to serve the people in Ada. He runs Farm for school Foundation (via farmforlivelihoodassociation.org) which address fund challenges for some of the youth going to school, runs the Malaria Awareness Club-Ada,works with JICA and other organizations as a volunteer in giving back to his society by providing Solar lamps to people on the island communities without electricity especially to support the kid's education and learning at night in Ada.
He's been amazing at what he does, and as I present this young and vibrant change maker to you from one of the poorest communities in Ada, looking for solid support to continue giving to the young people and society means to me worth celebrating. He was a part of the last season of the MTN Heroes of change and named among the 50 most outstanding Ada fellows in the philanthropic and social woksw and you can find him on Facebook: Isaac Adjaottor so you can partner with him to extend his projects to other deprived areas in the Ada districts.

The ill Grass root transport system.

Ghana's major transport system is the road. Over 70% of Ghana's citizens travel by the road each day but do the transport system have good roads? Travelling across the Eastern region, one of the food hub of the country's backbones,It appears that most of her roads are sick. The roads need urgent attention and construction. In the Krobo state, most villages are disconnected due to bad road networks. The vehicles that help in carrying farm produce from vilages do not want to go there since the road networks are bad. I spoke and spotted areas from Ooersika through to Sutri etc.where farmers have to carry weights of farm produce such as Cassava,maize etc.to a road that's a bit OK that sees vehicles come through to load them to the market square, Klo-Agogo. Verdant Global Week 3 Boti Community Blog

Verdant Global Boti community summer school second week ended so let's look back on what was achieved.The games and other extramural activities were moved to the morning instead of the afternoon with the objective of attracting more kids at 8 o'clock. Indeed the teams which had more members were more likely to win the games. They're organized on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Additionally, creative activities encouraging waste management were added on the Tuesday and Thursday morning. The courses continued as usual from 9am to 12noon except for Friday where an ICT session was organized by one of our partners, Young at Heart Ghana. Additionally, we have planned an awareness event for next week Thursday, 16th August aiming at the entire community as part of the International Youth Day 2018.
